Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript has not been published previously or submitted to another journal for consideration and publication, unless an explanation is provided in Comments to the Editor.
  • The manuscript file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF document format.
  • Complete web addresses (URLs) are provided for references wherever possible.
  • The text uses Times New Roman, size 14, with 1.5 line spacing. Italics are used for emphasis rather than underlining, except for URLs. Illustrations, figures and tables appear in the appropriate places in the text rather than at the end of the document.
  • The text follows the stylistic and bibliographic requirements in the Author Guidelines.
  • The title, abstract and keywords are prepared in Uzbek, Russian and English for the corresponding OJS language fields. All authors’ names, affiliations and countries and the corresponding author’s email are provided; an ORCID, when available, is used only after confirmation by its owner.
  • Author details are provided on a separate title page. Names, affiliations and other identifying information, including personal details in file properties, have been removed from the main file for anonymous review.
  • All authors have approved the submission. Author contributions, funding and conflicts of interest, including their absence, are stated. Where applicable, ethics approval or the basis for exemption, participant consent and data availability or access restrictions are described; any use of artificial intelligence tools is disclosed.

Article structure

• Article title; authors’ full names; workplace and position.
• Abstract.
• Keywords.
• Main text.
• References.

Provide the title, a concise abstract, author information and keywords in Uzbek, Russian and English.

Articles generally follow the IMRAD structure. The introduction should explain the relevance of the topic, the research area, object and subject, aims and objectives, the problem addressed, and the theoretical and practical significance of the proposed solution.

The main text describes the research methods and presents the collected and analysed results. It usually accounts for 80–90% of the article. It should also explain the scientific novelty of the findings and the results of their practical testing.

The conclusion presents findings and recommendations of theoretical and practical significance that address the problem stated in the introduction. The article ends with a list of references.

Formatting

The recommended length is 3–5 to 15 pages. Use A4 paper, portrait orientation, 2.5 cm margins on all sides and 1.5 line spacing. Use Times New Roman, black, size 14. Cite sources in square brackets and place the reference list at the end of the article.

Additional requirements for new submissions

Metadata: enter the title, abstract and keywords in the appropriate Uzbek, Russian and English fields in OJS, as well as in the manuscript. The English abstract must accurately state the aim, methods, main results and conclusion. For each author provide the full name, institution, city and country; identify the corresponding author and email. Use only the author’s own confirmed ORCID, where available.

Review files: upload a separate title page and an anonymised manuscript. Remove author names, affiliations and identifying file properties from the review copy. Enter author information in the submission metadata.

Declarations: include author contributions, funding (or no funding), competing interests (or none), applicable ethics approval or a justified exemption, consent information, and data availability with any lawful access restrictions. Do not upload identifiable participant data. Disclose substantial generative AI use; authors remain responsible for accuracy.

Research reporting: identify the article type. Original research should clearly separate methods, results and discussion. Reviews should explain how sources were selected; systematic reviews should report search and selection methods. State limitations and avoid conclusions unsupported by the data. References must be verifiable and include DOI or stable links where available.

Read the peer review procedure and publication ethics policy before submitting.

Publication ethics policy

Authors submit original work, acknowledge contributions and sources, and disclose funding and competing interests. Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification and simultaneous submission to multiple journals are not permitted. Applicable research requires statements on ethics approval and participant consent. Editors and reviewers maintain independence and confidentiality. Substantiated complaints, corrections and retractions are handled under the published policy.
